Still tweaking a few things on the site... use to be BJVlog. But now it's just JVlog with more pictures and maybe a little less video. But we will see! Stay tuned in and find out how it goes, I know I will! ;-*

My kids have heard the term GAY on tv and asked me what that meant. I told them it meant happy. I don't think they know what homosexuality is yet but I am not hiding it from them. I just think they need to be a little older to explain something like that. Of course, they may find that out in school sooner than that. My younger one has "married" two female barbie dolls a couple of times though, cute huh?
For me, there are so many gay men and women in my life that I expect Auggie will understand the term from a young age. I think there is nothing wrong with telling him that two men or two women can love one another just like mom and dad love each other...I would have a problem evading the issue by defining the term as 'happy' because then he won't understand my gay friends that are neurotic or depressed!!!
My kids have grown up with it as second nature, so it hasn't been an issue. I think it might have been more of an issue if we still lived in a place like C-ville...socially anyway....but now, yanno, I had to explain to Ana that you guys were not married and why.
Thanks for saying such nice things about me:) It was really nothing to drive down. It wasn't very far, and it was worth the trip. The girls had a great time, and can't wait to see you guy again. love you both to pieces!!
You guys are toooo much!! How SWEET was it that you did a shout out to Emma! I called my sister straight away tonight hoping Ems was still up. Well I was in luck! She had not fallen asleep yet, so Kristina, (my sis), let Emma come out and watch the vlog while I listened on the phone for their reactions. They were both so tickled!!! They said it was very thoughtful. Emma felt so special after that! Thank you!!
And ps...those 2 cuties from yesterday's vlog just cracked me up!! The loved saying HOLAAA!! It was too adorable so I watched it twice!!
