Still tweaking a few things on the site... use to be BJVlog. But now it's just JVlog with more pictures and maybe a little less video. But we will see! Stay tuned in and find out how it goes, I know I will! ;-*
my thoughts on the confederate etching; i think that it's important that history is remembered and celebrated. for the folks that live near and around the mountain, and all of the south - from virginia on down, the generals and "superstars" of the civil war on the confederate side are people that shaped the way we live our lives, even today. we're still reminded of that history in richmond, the capital of the south, everyday when we go down monument ave and see statutes of these men and when going to the art museum we have to pass the daughters of the confederacy. one of my high school yearbooks has a confederate flag on the cover because someone was wearing their "the south will rise again" hat and on friday afternoons there would be at least five confederate flags tied onto the back of someone's jacked up pickup. i can understand why the etching could be upsetting but it's an important part of the history of the area.
wtf with all these strikes. i wish drag queens had a union so we could strike.
I don't have much to say about the Confederate vs. the Union subject. I'm currently learning about it in my Lincoln and His Times course. I hope the Union wins... :-P

THANK YOU for filling us in on the history of Stone Mt.! I did a couple of weekend shows at that park, but never had the time to explore! Thank you for letting us know!! It is soooo interesting!!!

Wasn't there a Confederate Land in the original Six Flags over Texas? Now it's just called "Old Texas."
