I saw a secret screening of Sweeney Todd. The music was amazing. But I'm not a fan of supposed "cartoonie" gore. It was still gore, despite how "funny" it was supposed to be. But that didn't stop me from really liking it.
The sound designer and editor had a talk back afterwards and explained how all of the sound - during the numbers - was added artificially because the actors were lip syncing on set and they couldn't use the original sound. So the had to create the sounds of the blades in key with the songs. And really subtle things, like the sounds of dresses moving.
I know it's been sometime since you've heard from me, but I couldnt end my year without wishing you the best in this next year to come. May all your wishes and goals be achieved. I also want to thank you for the great New Years Tree idea now I dont have to take it down before my New Years Party...LOL Thank you BoB Steward/t
