Jason King's take on life from Vermont. Living and learning how to be a better person. Enjoying life and in people, places and things on this earth; 'cause I have no plans of going to the moon or any other planets... at this time!! ;-)
Site Under Construction!
Still tweaking a few things on the site... use to be BJVlog. But now it's just JVlog with more pictures and maybe a little less video. But we will see! Stay tuned in and find out how it goes, I know I will! ;-*
compliments are a tough one... the other day I was in the H&M dressing room looking in the tri-fold mirror at an outfit and a random guy sitting on the bench was like... good outfit, but you need to go a size smaller on the sweater though... and I was like... ummm... no... have you seen the size of my boobs? kthnxbye.
I think context is key... if someone were to pass me on the street and say "fierce shoes" (which doesn't happen... b/c I live in boston and wear wretched but comfortable shoes all the time)... then I would love it... but in contrast... the dressing room thing annoyed me...
anywho.... hope all is well in CA! love me some parade!
If you are in close proxemity to someone and want to complement them, I would think that would be okay but if you have to physically go out of your way to complement them, I would consider that freakish. People watching can be very entertaining.
So...rock on with the Bette Midler tune @ the beginning. I have not heard that in so long. You know I used to be OBSESSED with Bette when I was 12 until I was 18. Seriously. I had all her movie posters up in my room. I would rein-act the death scene from The Rose every night in my room imagining I was in front of a huge audience. My mother poor Mother. I am sure she wondered why I was not listening to New Kids On The Block, or Poison, like all the other kids. lol!
So, the whole complement thing. I never hold back anymore when I want to complement someone. Whether it is a stranger or a friend. Especially a woman. Girls are sooo catty. They don't compliment each other very often and I hate it, so I want to do my small part in this world to let girls know that I appreciate their good taste and think they look beautiful. Jason don't feel weird about complementing for sure! I am SOOOOO excited when I get a complement from a gay boy! I feel so stylish when that happens. It brightens my day. And I don't know a single woman that doesn't agree with me on that! So complement away!!!...(ps..I am stealing the "So cha cha" saying you threw out there !;)
I love people watching at the airport as well. Depending on who I am with, we will make up stories too!! A few weeks ago we saw a couple of young hippy kids making out like the sky was falling while at baggage claim. That was a entertaining while we waited for the rest of our cast to arrive. I don't remember the story we made up tho...must not have been that important as my grandma used to say...love you gramma!
Well, have a wonderful night! Thanks for the great vlogs:)
